The family portraits, antique furniture, open fires, good food and wine all contribute to the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The six guest bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, are luxurious and spacious and some offer wonderful views of the lake and parkland.
Bed and Breakfast prices, per person sharing, range from €90 - €116 per night. Evening Dinner is €50. |
Enniscoe
House is an elegant Georgian Manor House on the Enniscoe country
estate and once described as the last great house in North Mayo.
Your
host, Susan Kellett, is a direct descendant of the original family
who settled on the lands in the 1600's. Susan has earned an enviable
reputation for superb hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcome
and relaxed during their stay at Enniscoe. She has now been joined
by her son, Dj Kellett.
The
three large bedrooms at the front of the house have canopy or four
poster beds, and views of the parkland and lake. The bedrooms in
the older part of the house have garden views and are less grand,
however Karen Brown's Guide says they are "just as lovely"
and particularly recommends the old nursery "with half tester
and twin beds, and comfortable chintz chairs".
Enniscoe
House offers Bed & Breakfast, and dinner, accommodation between
the 1st April and the end of October.|
